A V3 Razor in the UK is free on a 12 month £25 contract. A sim-free Razor in the UK is £100 and in the US around $249. So it looks like the Networks in the US barely subsidise the phone with the contract in the US whereas in the UK the cost of the phone is included in around 1/3 of the total contract cost. So roughly $599 after a 20% subsidy would mean the sim-free US cost of the iPhone is $750 bucks. So about £300 sim free in the UK - which probably won't happen with Apple's international pricing. £400. So £200-£300 on a 12 month £25 a month contract using back of napkin logic. Given what it can do - PDA, iPod nano, get you laid by Sevitz - it will probably sell by the bucket. And get stolen by the truckload.
