Google apparently have several white boards in the googleplex with their MasterPlan on it - and ‘do not erase’ written in the corner - this is one of them. It reminds me of when I was at my previous job and we’d go into meeting rooms and draw nonsense graphs with axis like ‘Height of sister’ and then ‘GDP of Croatia’ and points of inflection with a note saying ’sell all our stock options’ and ‘burn the briefcase’. Or a list with people’s names on it from the department and some of the names crossed out with a big red marker. And one name double underlined with a tick. And two names with a line linking them and a heart drawn through the line. Or a basic sum with the wrong answer and underneath it in big block capitals saying I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’M DOING.
Then leave this on the meeting room white board with a ‘do not erase’ and watch the ensuing chaos as people rubberneck the room through the big glass walls, eyes popping out their heads.
