Creative preps Microsoft based Nomad video player
Do we see Creative’s fantastical grasp of design, engineering and ergonomics coupled with the stability, flexiblity and slimline software from the powerhouse Microsoft being a success?
Will this partnership be like the classical synergy of roast pork and fresh apple sauce?
Or even the childish but satisfying layers of peanut butter and strawberry jam?
Oh no. It’s more like a combination of steaming-hot expired kebab meat liberally covered in industrial engine degreaser.
All of Creative’s jukeboxes I’ve used require you to have possibly more than two hands and the ability to move each finger independently, in all 3 axes.
Microsoft’s attempt at a mobile phone OS is currently sits on the Orange SPV. This piece of kit is actually about as stable as an old 286 running Windows 95.
In a bucket of Brasso.
My Ipod whilst not having a colour screen or video playback has only 5 buttons, of which I only really use 3. Apple’s software is simple and effective and definitely doesn’t require a manual.
Creative & Microsoft. Like ‘H & Claire’ but actually a lot lot worse.
